The Origins of ARMS Group of Companies lies in the Stevedoring, This was the first service started by the Founder Mr. Mohamed Sharif Al Baidheai under DULSCO. When Sheikh Rashid initiated the dredging of the Dubai Creek to make it an artery of maritime trading DULSCO swung in to action to provide experienced stevedores to the industry.

Since then the company has gone from strength to strength, delivering quality services on an exponentially growing scale as well as keeping with demands presented by Dubai’s growth and seizing the opportunities it presents.

With the return of Founder’s son from USA after completing his higher studies the diversification of the company began with new ideas and concepts initiated by Mr. Abdul Rahaman Mohamed Sharif the Son of the founder.

ARMS group ventured in to automotive industry by obtaining the sole distributorship of Ferrari, Masarati, Lamborghini, De Lorean (DMC) and the Italian American Luxury 4X4 Lorenza. With these Luxury upper end sports cars and SUVS the International Automotive Company was born. Luxury Sports Cars were distributed not only in Dubai and UAE but to many Countries in the Arabian Gulf.

ARMS Group ventured in to Home Appliances which was becoming a lucrative business with the economic growth in the UAE and in the region. Auto Parts and accessories in the early eighties was a Flourishing trade in the Middle East Region and the Higher Demand for Automotive parts from Iran and other gulf countries compelled ARMS Group to enhance capacity and build more storage facilities and distribution networks in the region.

Late 70’s and early 80’s was the era of political Social and Economical changes in the Arabian Gulf and the automotive parts and accessories industry suffered as some of the lucrative Arabian Gulf markets was lost due to various reasons. With the new developments in the region ARMS Group decided to venture in to Property Development and Management.

However the Passion for motoring industry never went away from the founders. The most Luxurious and technologically advanced Auction House was launched under Arms Umbrella in 2008. The ambitious plan to build the best Auction House in the Middle East and the most Luxurious in the world was a success. Today Pioneer Auctions stands tall as the best Auction House in the region.

ARMS Group Ventured in to Iformation Technology Business Solutions and Bakery Products Segments in late 2007 with Al Taqnyah the IT Business Solution Providor making new waves in the Informaton Technology Solution Providing Business in the Middle East Region, and was instrumental in Automating the Dubai Court’s Notary Public service which was the first in the whole of Midddle East and only the 4th Country in the world.

Jana Bakers was set up in 2008 under ARMS umbrella do produce quality Bakery Products in Qatar. Jana Bakery entered the Guiness Book of World records by producing the largest Arabic Bread 128 meters long in the World in 2008.

Since the beginning over seven decades ago ARMS Group has contributed immensely to the development of Dubai , United Arab Emirates and will Continue to Contribute positively to the development of the Nation and the Region in years to come.
