Eng. Yassir Hassan Al Naeem Bsc MBA PhD
Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Yassir Al Naeem is a Chemical Engineer by Profession He started his career after completing his University Education in 1996. With entrepreneurial spirit in him he went on to start his own General Trading Company in Pakistan. He Build a Business successfully from 1996 to 1999.

In 1999 he became a Managing Partner of Al Qala General Trading Company, a Member of Building Technology Group in Oman specializing in Chemical Supplies for Water Purification and Desalination.

In 2003 his career took a new turn and joined the ARMS Group of companies as the Marketing and Business Development Manager during which time he achieved many milestones for ARMS Group in terms of Developing the Marketing Team and Acquiring new Businesses.

In 2005 Mr. Yassir was promoted as the General Manager of the ARMS Group. During his Tenure as General Manager ARMS Group ventured in to IT Business Solutions. Al Taqnyah Business Solutions was established to meet the ever increasing demand in public and private sector for IT business solutions in the Middle East Region.

In 2008 Mr. Yassir Naeem was appointed as the Group CEO. Mr. Yassir was instrumental in setting up the Pioneer Auctions under ARMS Group. Pioneer Auction Organizing is the most technologically advanced and most luxurious Auction House in the Middle East Region.

With the Chairman’s vision to expand to other Gulf Countries ARMS Group’s expansion plans were laid out in 2008/2009 financial year with Jana Bakery getting off the ground in Qatar as a joint venture

Mr. Yassir is a well qualified professional with a Bsc in Chemical Engineering, A diploma in Computer Science, Certificate in Property Management from the Property Management Training Institute in Toronto, Canada, a Certificate in Management from the Al Aqariya Academy a Masters Degree in Business Management and a PhD in Business Management and Administration from an American University.


Mr. Shaun Ahmad BA (Hons) FCCA
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

He is a 20 years experienced and qualified Finance Professional from United Kingdom.

His specialties are Strategic Planning, Business Expansion Creating Sustainable Wealth and Employment.

He has a proven track record of being able to take an Idea, Develop a Model, Allocate Resources, Plan, Finance, Schedule, Create Organization Plan, Organize, Motivate, Mobilize and Successfully Implement.

He has senior commercial exposure in many Sectors, Cultures, Management styles and has the ability to work with, guide high profile individuals towards success.

He has a BA (Hons) Finance Degree and is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Charted Accountants of UK (FCCA).

Mr. Nishantha Jayasundara MBA (UWS) ASIM (SG)
Group Marketing & Communications Manager

Mr. Jayasundara Joined ARMS Group of Companies in January 2011. He has a wealth of Experience in Diversified fields such as Equity Trading/Financial Services, Air Express Industry and Education Services sector. He has been working for Local and Multinational companies in Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Australia and Singapore in different capacities. His last assignment before he joined ARMS Group was with Bristol Business School in Singapore as the Regional Marketing Manager where he travelled extensively in South Asia and East Asia.

He has been in the Credit Risk Management, Sales, Business Development and Marketing for over 18 years. Mr. Jayasundara an MBA Graduate from the University of Western Sydney, Sydney Graduate School of Management is an Associate Member of the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM)

Mr. Jayasundara is well versed in Developing and implementing Strategic Business/Marketing plans. He successfully Planned and implemented Marketing Plan for 2009/2010 for BBS in Singapore for the markets of China, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Thailand.

He was a well known Public Speaker and a presenter in Colombo Sri Lanka and Outstations in Equity Trading and Diversification of Investments for Individual Investors and Institutions. He has conducted many Training and Awareness Programs on Promoting Colombo Stock Exchange and Equity Investments in Sri Lanka.


Mr. Don Ashan Haputhantri MBA ( UOFH), DIP ( IATA/FIATA)
Group Operations Manager.

Mr. Don Ashan Haputanthri Joined ARMS Group in January 2011 as the Group Operations Manager. He counts over 13 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Procurement, Distribution and Merchandising.

He started his career in Colombo as a Medical detail representing major brands from leading pharmaceutical companies in India and Pakistan and joined the logistics and Air Express industry in Saudi Arabia. With a four year stint with DHL Worldwide Express where he excelled in his capacity as a Ground operation agent he moved on to become a Merchandiser in one of the world leading garment manufacturer MAS Unichela Pvt Ltd in Sri Lanka. He was merchandising for global Brands such as Marks & Spencer, Gap Next & Pink.

In 2004 he joined Sanipax Group and became the warehouse manager. During his tenure he was instrumental in setting up the 120,000 square foot warehouse facility in Jebel Ali from Planning to finalization of the project. He was promoted as Group Inventory Controller.

Ashan is an MBA Graduate from the University of Honolulu, Kent county, Delaware ,United States and IATA /FIATA diploma Montreal Canada, Diploma in Trade & Shipping & Logistics (Sri Lanka) and also an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2000 (UKAS Quality Management System)
